Job overview:
A full time teaching position in the Humanities Department. Teachers have 5/8 teaching
blocks as well as other expectations as per contract. In addition teachers are expected to
lead meaningful 3 semester-long activities in line with the Creativity, Action and Service
during our Wider Wednesday Program. HIS is an IB world school, so all curriculum and
teaching is aligned accordingly.
Requirements for all Faculty:
Essential
? Alignment with the HIS Mission
? Police clearance from your previous and home country
? Teaching Certification in the content area for the position
? Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Masters degree preferred)
? Relevant experience and knowledge of best practices in the content area
Preferred
? International teaching experience is a plus
? IB PYP, MYP or DP experience as applicable to role
? Knowledge of current best practices in particular differentiation and student
engagement
? Be aware of current developments in safeguarding, child protection and DEIB
